The cup size at Starbucks is confusing for many people. So don't worry, you are not alone.

This is how we call those cups size at Starbucks. 

Cup Size

• Small  (or you can say kid size)
• Tall
• Grande
• Venti
• Trenta (cold only)

You would like to start your order from deciding the cup size. 

Grande is the size most people get.

If you just want a good amount of medium-sized drink, then Grande will be your best choice. 

COFFEE 

Regular Drip Coffee/ Brewed Coffee :

• Pike (medium roast/mild) 
• Dark (dark roast) 
• Blonde (blonde roast)

+ With Room (leave space for milk or cream or milk alternatives)

milk at Starbucks: regular milk, non-fat milk, whole milk, & lactose-free milk

milk alternatives at Starbucks: soy milk, almond milk, & coconut milk

By the way, It is very good to see that Starbucks here in Canada has many milk alternatives options compare to many Asian countries, like Taiwan for example. 

Many customers, including me, like to order the brewed coffee to put in one size bigger size cup. 

In this way, you don't lose any coffee. But you get the room for milk or cream you want to put in your coffee. 

• Coffee Misto 

Coffee Misto is basically the brewed coffee mixed with steamed milk. 

You can choose the brewed coffee you like.

My favorite brewed coffee that I always get is Pike Place.

If you don't think you would like whipped cream on the top of your cafe Mocha or white choc mocha or salted caramel mocha,

ensure to ask for no whipped cream at the till. Those mocha drinks usually come with whipped cream.

You can always ask your barista at the till to add any syrups or sauces into your drinks if you like the sweet or extra-strong flavor.
